The Best Times to Travel to Oahu
The best time to travel here is from mid-April to early-June or between September and mid-December. During these months, you are going to see less tourists, attractions will be less crowded and room-rates will be at their lowest. Average temperatures are between 15-23* celsius during these times.
Mid June to August is considered one of the peak seasons in Oahu, the other is late December to early April. During the summer months, most people flock to Oahu to take advantage of the beautiful weather! The downfall to this season is that hotels and airlines will charge you way more than the shoulder seasons.
You can expect plenty of surfers to flock to Oahu in Late December to early April as the swells are high and the surfing competitions are plentiful. These months are also the best time to spot humpback whales. Make sure to pack an umbrella, because you will see more rain showers during this season.
It is strongly recommended that you book well in advance to avoid high costs and rooms not being available!
