Breakfast Boob Cookies

Recipes Lactation Cookies

Okay so what is a Breakfast Boob Cookie? It is the fastest and easiest breakfast cookie that you’ll ever make and may also increase your milk supply!

I had come across a few recipes for lactation support and was never satisfied with the outcome–they always tasted like a lactation cookie (which is not great).  So I started experimenting and finally came up with the perfect combination of ingredients that were delicious, nutritious and great to have for busy mornings when I have no time to cook. Now, we are not claiming to be lactation experts at all.  However, with some simple research into what foods support lactation and testing out our own supply response with the cookies–they did work for us and we hope you get a similar result.

What I love most about this recipe is that you literally need one bowl, one spatula, a measuring cup and a sheet pan.  There are no fancy gadgets and no complicated measurements. Just throw all the ingredients in a bowl, mix and bake! It’s so simple that you can have your kids help you out without risk of messing up the recipe!

Being moms we need fast and healthy grab and go meals most of the time, and these cookies are exactly that. Filled with dark chocolate, peanut butter, oatmeal and bananas–you can’t go wrong grabbing these on the go in the morning or even enjoying in the afternoon as a pick me up.  We have tested them on kids and husbands and they have no idea that these yummy cookies actually are helping to boost our milk supply too!

Hope you enjoy and let us know if you try out any of our recipes by posting in the comments or sharing your food pics on Instagram with #sflfoodie and #strollinforlattes !
